Glossybox July 2014

I've been wanting to resubscribe to Glossybox for a while now but they've never advertised anything I wanted that could persuade me into buy it again... until this month...

I got an email from glossybox recently saying that their July box contained 4 full sized products and I just had to jump on that offer! It actually turned out that all of the products I received were full sized so I got an even better deal than I thought! I'm so glad I bought it because I got some really good products that I'm very happy with.

An overview of the products!
Mary Kay Cosmetics: Lash Love Mascara
For the past few months I've loved trying new mascaras so I was quite happy when I received one in this months box. On first glances I like the look of this mascara; the brush is a nice shape and I think looks like it could separate the lashes easily but still give some good volume, the consistency looks great- not dry but not too wet either! I've tried this out already and I am happy with the results! I'll have a review on here soon hopefully so keep a look out for that! I'm not sure if I would repurchase this however as I do think that there are more affordable mascaras out there that do just as well. Cost- £16 | Total cost of box- £16

Carmex: Lip Balm
I really think Glossybox have a thing for lip balms... every box I've received from them has had a lip balm! Now, I know that it is important to keep your lips hydrated but I haven't finished the last one they gave me yet! Apart from that though I think this is a good product but I will probably end up giving this to someone else. I haven't ever used a Carmex products but I have heard that they're not too bad- it's full size too so I can't complain that much... not much else to say about it really! Cost- £2.69 | Total cost of box- £18.69

Bellapierre Cosmetics Ltd: Mineral Lipstick Shade- Cat Walk
This was the star product in this months box and the value of this alone is double that of Glossybox, so even if you get it just for the lipstick you have already got a great bargain! I was happy with the shade I got because there were 3 possible shades- a nice bright red, a peachy nude (the one I got), and a horrid orange colour! I have quite a few red lipsticks so I wasn't too bothered about that one, orange NEVER suits me so I'm glad I didn't get that one and at least a nude colour can be worn everyday! I like this lipstick- the pigmentation is good, it's creamy and moisturising and the smell is divine like marshmallows! (I should also have a review of this soon too so keep your eyes peeled!) All in all this was a great product and I think I might try some more products from this brand. Cost- £20 | Total cost of box- £38.69

ABSOLUTE New York: Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer
I only have one primer and that's from E.L.F so this was a good product for me! I don't use primer very often though and I really should as my eyelids tend to get very oily during the day and my shadow tends to wear away quite easily. I also have hooded eyes so it creases quite easily too. I haven't used this yet but it looks like it could be a good product. The card that comes with Glossybox says that it is has an 'oil-free, ultra-creamy formula' so this should work quite well for me. I'm excited to try it out and I'm glad I got this product! Cost- $4.99 (£2.94) | Total cost of box- £41.63

Broadway Nails: imPRESS Press On Manicure
The last product I received were some press on false nails in the colour 'It Girl'. I received the short length ones which are actually shorter than my natural nails but I have no problem or heartache when it comes to cutting my nails shorter so I should be able to use these! I've never used any false nails before so I think short length ones are best so I can get used to them! The colour is a lovely shimmery purple and they look very easy to apply which is great for a newby like me! Cost: £7.99 | Total cost of box- £49.62

Overall I am so happy with this months box, the value of the box far outweighs the cost and the products are really good too! I think I'll use pretty much all products in this box and might even repurchase some of them! I do recommend Glossybox if you're after some new products from different brands but don't know what to get because they do it all for you!
Thanks for reading and I should hopefully have some reviews of these products and some others in the near future! Please check out some of my other posts too and I love reading comments so please feel free to leave one if you like my blog! Once again, thanks!
