Elf Make-up Brushes Review

I bought three ELF make-up brushes a couple of weeks ago and now I've used them enough I am able to make a fair review on them. I'm pleased with all of their outcome but at first I was slightly concerned. There seemed to be a lot of fallout of bristles when I first used the brush, however once I got rid of the loose bristles (which was worrying when I was removing them as I thought most of them were going to fall out!) I was pleased with the outcome of them.

One of the brushes I bought was the Blending Eye Brush. This was the brush that I had the most concern about with the fallout of bristles, but once I sorted it out it's one of the best- if not the best- blending brushes I have used. It smudges and smokes out the pigment and removes harsh edges and fades the pigment out. It's a good shape and easy to use and I do recommend this brush.

The second brush is their Eye Crease Brush. This is an amazing brush and the fallout was nowhere near as bad as the blending brush. This brush picks up so much pigment and spreads it in exactly the place you want it. It's not too flexible that the brush becomes flimsy and sticks the pigment anywhere willy-nilly! However it's not too hard that it's difficult to work with. When spreading the pigment it acts as a blending brush so the line of pigment in the crease isn't harsh; it fades it out and drags the pigment to where you want it. I love this brush and will use it countless times in the future!

The last one I bought is ELF's Smudge Eye Sponge. To be perfectly honest, this is the first of these types of brushes I've tried but as first impressions go I am very pleased with the result! It's easy to use and smudges out pigments easily. I used it for the first time properly a few days ago and it made my eyeliner lovely and smokey without too much hastle. The brush isn't too rough on the eye and is flexible to use! Once again I would definately recommend this brush/sponge!

All in all I am so pleased with these ELF brushes and will definately be buying more in the future, at only £1.50 they're amazing value for money and are some of the best brushes I've tried.
